Who we are
Iron Signal Works is a web systems company based in Lisbon, Portugal. Controller contact: web@ironsignalworks.com.
What we collect
When you use the contact form or email us, we receive the details you send (typically name, email, company, and answers to the project qualification questions). We may also process basic technical logs needed to run and secure the site (such as IP address and request metadata via our hosting provider). Contact submissions may include a bot-protection token from Cloudflare Turnstile.
Why we use it
We process this data to reply to enquiries, deliver quotes or project work, and keep the site reliable and secure. Legal bases are typically your request (pre-contractual steps) and our legitimate interest in operating the company.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle the conversation and related project follow-up, then deleted or archived with limited access.
Sharing and subprocessors
We do not sell personal data. Current processors that may handle data on our behalf: Vercel (hosting and serverless functions), Resend (transactional email), Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection on the contact form), and Sentry (error monitoring: stack traces and technical diagnostics, without advertising profiles). We do not use session-replay products.
Cookies and similar tech
This site does not use advertising cookies. Essential hosting and security tooling may set strictly necessary cookies or process IP/request metadata. Product telemetry events are sent as breadcrumbs to Sentry when enabled and do not rely on marketing cookies.
Your rights
Under GDPR / RGPD you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. You can also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese CNPD or your local EU supervisory authority.
